LactiGo for coaches and personal trainers
Your clients ask what you use. Here is how to answer about LactiGo without overclaiming, how to run a squad trial that tells you something, and the two ways coaches buy it.
What you can say about it
Stick to what is published, and you are safe with your clients and with the regulator. The lines that hold up:
- It is a topical carnosine gel, applied 30 to 45 minutes before a session over the muscles about to work. The method.
- It is Informed Sport certified, batch tested, and carnosine is not on the WADA list. Details.
- The best trial so far is a triple-blind crossover in seven world-class rugby sevens players, published in 2025, which found higher peak power in some sprints. The evidence is early and the samples are small. All four studies.
- Nine cosmetic ingredients, vegan, no menthol in the Australian tube. The list.
The lines that do not hold up: that it treats, prevents, or fixes anything; that it will make a client faster; or anything about "lactic acid". The research page says what the evidence supports, and it is written so you can send it to a client as is.
Run a squad trial that tells you something
Most coaches who try it do a one-tube test on themselves, then a squad trial. The trial is only worth running if it is set up so the result means something:
- Pick one repeatable session: a hill set, a 6 x 400 m, a repeat sprint block. Run it twice without the gel, two weeks apart, and record the numbers.
- Apply the gel the same way every time: clean skin, 30 to 45 minutes before, about 5 pumps per leg. Same time of day, same warm-up.
- Run the session twice more with the gel, same gap.
- Compare. Expect noise. Four sessions in a small group will not prove anything; it will tell you whether it is worth a longer look.
Go Packets (10 mL sachets, one application each) suit a squad trial better than tubes. The 30-day guarantee covers a first single tube, not a pack, so buy one tube for yourself first.
How coaches buy it
Two routes, and they are different programs:
- Retail with subscription. A$80 a tube, A$72 on monthly subscription, through the Australian store. Right for a coach using it personally or buying a few packets for a trial.
- Practitioner and team program. LactiGo runs a separate program for professionals and teams who buy for clients or a squad, with its own pricing. It needs an approved application through LactiGo. Apply for the practitioner and team programs.
The affiliate option
If clients already buy on your word, LactiGo pays a commission on referred sales. It is free to join, there is no stock to hold and no quota, and LactiGo ships, bills, and handles returns. You get a referral link and a portal. I supply a buyer page, an email sequence, and a compliance checklist so you are not writing from scratch. Rules: disclose on every post, no medical claims, no earnings claims. The partner page has the pay structure and the join link.
If you do not have clients who ask, skip this. Start as a customer.
