LactiGo for clubs and teams
Rugby, league, AFL, football, netball, hockey, running and cycling clubs. How the team program works, what to order for match day, how clubs fund it, and what the club can post.
The team program
LactiGo runs a sports team program, separate from the retail store, for clubs and teams ordering for a squad. It has its own pricing and needs an approved application through LactiGo. A club officer applies, LactiGo approves, and orders ship from the Gold Coast warehouse like any other. Apply for the team program. If you want help with the application, contact me.
Match day logistics
- Timing: 30 to 45 minutes before warm-up, in the change room, before strapping. Not on the sideline.
- Format: Go Packets (10 mL sachets) suit a squad. One sachet is one player's legs. No shared tube, no pump count, nothing to carry home.
- Amount: a 20-player squad uses 20 sachets a game. A Pro Pack (ten tubes and ten sachets) or sachet packs cover a month of matches; LactiGo's team program sizes orders to the squad.
- Who applies it: the player. Clean dry skin, spread like sunscreen over quads, hamstrings, and calves, rub in, dress. By sport.
- Drug testing: batch tested under Informed Sport; carnosine is not on the WADA list. Keep the batch number for any player who may be tested. Details.
Funding a season
A season's supply for a squad is a few thousand dollars. Clubs that have done this treat it like boots or tape: a line in the player levy, or a local sponsor's contribution. A sponsor gets a named product line in the kit bag and a mention; the club gets the supply. If the club prefers, it can join as an affiliate and earn commission on members who buy at retail through the club's link, which offsets the squad order. That is the partner page route and it needs the club to disclose it on every post.
What the club can post
Clubs post. The rules are short: say it is a carnosine gel the squad uses before games; link to the research rather than describing results; no claims about injury, recovery, pain, or performance; disclose the affiliate link if the club has one. Player testimonials about how it feels are fine; player testimonials that promise an outcome are not. I supply a one-page checklist to any club that asks.
Trial first
Before a squad order, one officer or coach buys one tube at retail and uses it for a month. That first tube carries the 30-day guarantee. Then a sachet pack for the leadership group for a few games. Then the application. Clubs that skip the first two steps end up with a carton in the shed.
